Scylla & Furax Barbarossa

When Scylla and Furax Barbarossa share a track, the impact is immediate. Two powerful voices, two sharp pens, raw intensity. For more than fifteen years, these two major figures in French-language rap have been forging their own paths as solo artists, exploring distinct worlds, but regularly coming together on tracks that have become cult classics.

On one side is Scylla, the Brussels native with a deep voice and introspective writing, capable of blending power and depth with rare ease. On the other is Furax Barbarossa, the Toulouse native with a sharp delivery, known for his intensity and raw lyricism. Two unique styles, two unique journeys, but an obvious connection.

For years, their complementarity has intrigued and fascinated. Their energy in the studio and on stage never fails to impress. And now, they are taking it to the next level. They are announcing their return together with a project entitled “Portes du Désert” (Gates of the Desert).

In parallel with this project, Scylla and Furax Barbarossa will be touring throughout France and Belgium, and will perform at La Belle Electrique on February 27, 2026.

Geule Blansh is an artist who forges his own path at his own pace, year after year, song after song. Sometimes his career takes long breaks, sometimes the pace picks up until he releases a single every month. What remains constant is his sharp pen and his ability to recount life with depth and authenticity.
