Papooz

Papooz burst onto the scene in 2015 with “Ann Wants To Dance,” a catchy single in the form of a carefree pop hit, carried by an androgynous and haunting voice, dancing and graceful like a soap bubble, designed as an anthem to joy. It was an extraordinary success and a flying start for the duo, whose goal couldn't have been simpler: to make music, or rather pop, the soundtrack of their lives, for the love of guitars, but above all to make people happy.

Ulysse Cottin (the brunette) and Armand Penicaut (the blond) met about fifteen years ago in the endless queue for a Patti Smith concert. The two young men became instant friends, spending afternoons putting the world to rights, composing snippets of songs on the guitar, and talking endlessly about their love of songwriting. Active for about ten years, equally at ease on record and on stage, with three albums under their belt, Papooz has perfectly captured the revival of the French pop-rock scene.

Arabella

Arabella embodies the urgency of rock, the elegance of edgy pop, and the power of instinctive songwriting. Formed in a rehearsal room in northern France, the band quickly made a name for itself with its raw stage energy and sound that blends alternative rock, Britpop, and a certain French tradition of poetic intensity. Driven by sharp guitars, solid rhythms, and haunting vocals, Arabella claims influences ranging from Arctic Monkeys to Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, and The Kooks.

Their music strikes with its effectiveness and sincerity, blending tension and elegance in songs that are both catchy and profound. On stage, Arabella is an electric discharge. The band plays a string of dates, forging its identity through live performances and captivating audiences with its ability to unite them around a sound that is both familiar and unique. After a remarkable first EP, the band is refining its artistic direction and ambitiously preparing for the future.

Arabella is forging its path with the conviction of a project built to last.
