Eagle-Eye Cherry's career soared with the hit "Save Tonight," and he continues to evolve as an artist. His sixth studio album, *Back on Track*, released in 2023, reflects the influences of his teenage idols and marks a confident return after navigating periods of doubt.
Born in Stockholm in 1968 to artist Moki Cherry and jazz musician Don Cherry, Eagle-Eye grew up in the Scanian countryside with his sister, Neneh. The family later moved to New York, where he attended the School of Performing Arts, played drums in various bands, and explored acting. After the passing of his father in 1995 and feeling disillusioned with acting, he returned to Sweden to pursue music. His debut album, *Desireless* (1997), featured the breakout single "Save Tonight," which topped charts in Europe and reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Cherry released two more albums, *Living in the Present Future* (2000) and *Sub Rosa* (2003), followed by extensive touring. After years of relentless performances, he took a hiatus in 2012 to regain balance in his life. He returned with *Can’t Get Enough* and later released *Streets of You* in 2018, which was nominated for a Swedish Grammy.
*Back on Track* draws inspiration from the challenges of the pandemic and a renewed appreciation for live performances. Influenced by the energy of bands like The Clash and Talking Heads, Eagle-Eye has crafted songs that blend his classic sound with fresh arrangements and lyrical perspectives. As he prepares for an upcoming world tour, he’s filled with excitement and gratitude to reconnect with fans around the globe—those who have always supported him and who make every performance a truly special experience.

Mathieu des Longchamps was born in Montreal, Quebec, to a folk singer mother and a flamenco guitarist and harpist father. A childhood in La Guaira, Panama, in a shack on stilts, between jungle green and ocean blue, already provides the “out of the box” baggage of the man in the making, and draws the portrait of this eternal dreamer-traveler of rare authenticity.
After a debut album (Vivo en Panamá), his autobiographical short film of the same name (2021), his reissue Vivo en Panamá - Itinéraire bis (2023) and a major spotlight thanks to his song “Ça s'éclaircit devant”, synchronized on the new Intermarché campaign ad film (CSDEM prize for best ad synchro 2024), the singer-songwriter has made a meticulous comeback with Le vert et le bleu.
Very acoustic, this new album reveals elegant, racy folk, a collection of deep thoughts and reflections on time, the dreams we make and give up, others and ourselves...
