Bertrand Belin
For this new studio album, Bertrand Belin has chosen to explore new soundscapes, to pursue and take his research even further, to dig his furrow a little deeper. The piano, in majesty on some of the tracks, lends an additional grace to the skilful electronic/guitar/drum mix at work on his most recent albums, but presented in a new light.
Here and there, the strings lift the harmony and the voice towards meteos of all kinds. The relationship is always from earth to sky and vice versa. The themes of this new album are existential: our place, our gaze, our movements, our loves, our attentions, our impulses, our fears and questionings. Bertrand sings even more than usual, and his wide-ranging prose gives his legendary, paradoxical minimalism new arborescences.

Stéphane Milochevitch
Since Le Tunnel Végétal (2018), a dreamy and magnificent album, Stéphane Milochevitch (aka Thousand) has been nourishing our everyday lives... and our imaginations. With poetic and concise lyrics, raw sincerity and biting irony, the musician delivers the most precious and flamboyant compositions in French-language pop heard in a long time. Shortly afterwards, ‘Au Paradis’, labyrinthine, lush and deceptively lazy, took root in this singular year of 2020; in a state of semi-sleep? Semi-awake? Could it have been any other way?
Stéphane Milochevitch's compositions are waves. And these waves are territories. Contrasting territories where the musician breaks free from the codes of French chanson. He dons the masks of a myriad of characters to tell an intimate story in which everyone can lose themselves and identify with, surprised by themselves.
We embrace the unknown, the forbidden, the invisible and the unspeakable.
