It was with a certain flair for flamboyance that Pierre de Maere, a 24-year-old singer-songwriter, made a sensational debut on the French-language pop scene. In just a few months, he has infused the scene with his own sense of panache, blending feverish romanticism, biting irony, and a keen flair for performance.

Named Male Newcomer of the Year at the 2023 Victoires de la Musique, propelled by his platinum-certified debut album *Regarde-moi*, Pierre de Maere charms without ever taking himself too seriously—and makes his mark with disconcerting ease and freedom. He will return to the stage in 2026–27 for a tour across France that will also stop in Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.)
