Explore Brazilian rhythms
A journey through Brazil via a variety of rhythms, while exploring body percussion and singing.
A workshop to discover and explore Brazilian singing and rhythms through body percussion. Just as in a garden, whose beauty arises from the harmony of the various scents that compose it, Brazilian music draws its strength from its openness as well as from the diversity of rhythms and styles that characterize it.
Participants will be able to “smell the scents” of different “soundscapes” from regions across Brazil, such as coco, samba, forró, baião, xote, and even funk carioca with Maria Luma.
- From 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Suitable for all ages 12 and up
