Libère ton moov’ | Forró
Sara has been dancing forró for five years. She trained in northeastern Brazil for a year. It was a sensitive learning process, focused primarily on connection and groove at dance parties. Passionate about folk dances, she attended various dance schools and practiced several disciplines such as Afro-Brazilian dances, house dance, and dancehall gyal, which continue to inspire her practice.
In her daily life, she uses dance in its social dimension as a means of expressing herself to the world, of connecting with rhythm, with herself, and with others, and advocates for making dance accessible to everyone.
With all her energy, she offers a workshop on forró, a popular couple’s dance from Northeast Brazil.
- From 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Suitable for all ages 8 and up, accompanied by parents.
