SANITY embodies rap as an art form, encased within a distinctive blend of hip-hop, jazz and soul. The Birmingham native's relentless lyricism places her front-and-centre of a creative new wave defined by embracing fluidity and dismantling categories.
Her first long-form music project, “Bruises To Blossoms” marks a significant turning point in her artistic journey bringing together a diverse range of collaborations with talented artists such as Blue Lab Beats, MELONYX, Camilla George, and Kofi Stone.
As the artist took to the stage at the 2018 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Australia to an estimated audience of 1 billion people, her bold authenticity has captured global audiences ever since.
SANITY's ascent as one of the most exciting voices in UK Rap is no surprise, from the elegant delivery of her performance with BBC Symphony Orchestra (Beyond The Bricks Of Brum, 2022) to boldly opening for legendary artist Yasiin Bey/Mos Def (Troxy, 2022), branching out to international territories, performing at SXSW (2024) for BBC Introducing as well as securing her single ‘Black Eye’ on the renowned gaming franchise FC25.
