BIM (Benin International Musical) is composed of five musician-vocalists who share stories of the African continent and its history, while showcasing its culture and the voodoo tradition. Beyond preconceived notions, voodoo promotes a positive philosophy, deeply connected to the land and its people. Comprising Vivus and Rizeum, this Grenoble-based collective offers musical and dance evenings based on a selection of Afro-Caribbean vinyl from the 60s/70s/80s. Shango Light evenings are synonymous with atmosphere, conviviality and good humor, as the many establishments/festivals for which the duo has been programmed can testify.
