Carpenter Brut blends electronic music, metal, and 1980s pop culture into a unique universe that is both dark and energetic. Since 2015, he has established himself as one of the leading figure son the international synthwave scene, with a powerful and straightforward sound. Drawing inspiration from John Carpenter and Dario Argento as much as from Slayer or Justice,Carpenter Brut has built a coherent, stylized, and shadowy world at the crossroads of retro thrillers, glam metal, and futuristic dystopia.
With Leather Temple, he brings to a close the trilogy that began with Leather Teeth (2018) and Leather Terror (2022), delivering a complete work: at once a concept album, the soundtrack to an imaginary film, and a post-apocalyptic graphic experience.
