Et j'ai crié ! La chanson française à pleins tubes

The 18 musicians of the Big Band l’Usine à Jazz and their vocal guests Laëtitia Hulewicz and Samuel Chaffange revisit masterpieces of French song with explosive originality, infectious festive energy, and deep respect. The timeless and popular hits of Piaf, Gainsbourg, Barbara, Brassens, Patricia Kaas, Christophe, Les Rita Mitsouko, Michel Jonasz, Niagara, and Joe Dassin are polished to perfection and transposed into eclectic tempos and musical styles, from swing to electro, Afro-rock, funk, reggae, and mambo, to rediscover a new, vibrant, and contemporary sparkle.

In the first half, La Brass'tille, a sparkling and luminous brass band, deploys its brass instruments at the crossroads of techno, dance, and Latin music, with one promise : more sparkle in our lives !

L'Usine à Jazz

The eighteen musicians of the solid Alpine big band L'Usine à Jazz are turning a new page in their long history by entrusting the reins of their orchestra to Lionel Moreau-Flachat for Et j'ai crié ! With this festive and original creation, the orchestra confirms its ability to reinvent itself and its taste for challenges, without abandoning its guiding principle and specialty: groove!

L’Usine à Jazz has a stimulating policy of renewing its leadership for each new project, so as to never stop reinventing itself. Its previous shows have filled venues: Charles B Funk, created by Karim Maurice (2022), Black Legends (2019) and Live in the City – Tribute to Stevie Wonder (2016) conducted by Pascal Perrier, Sotto Voce (2013) written and conducted by Vincent Stephan, not to mention its tributes to Duke Ellington, Pat Metheny, Astor Piazzolla, and the Brecker Brothers conducted by Fabrice Bon, and his forays into contemporary music, with Lindberg's Requiem for big band and choir (2010), and into hip hop and nu jazz with Electro Deluxe (2010).

The musicians of Usine à Jazz: Stefan Landis and Hugo Jolas: alto and soprano saxophones; Laurent Bernard and Thierry Charbit: tenor saxophones; Arnaud Ruffin: baritone saxophone; Christophe Giroud, Dominique Gillet, Olivier Maupas, and François Carrel: trumpets and flugelhorns; Yannick Malot, Régis Degroisse, Florian Le Marquand: trombones; René-Pierre Jullien-Palletier: bass trombone; Patrice Hibon: keyboards; Charly Cottaz: bass; Serge Stella: guitar; Alex Martino: percussion; Dorian Bonin: drums.
