We're delighted to announce the date of the next jam organized by the Grenoble Reggae Orchestra: Tuesday October 31, All Hallows' Eve. This session will take place at La Belle Électrique, and will mark the 4th time our collective has played at this Grenoble music venue.

A major innovation for the association: admission will be charged to the public, at €8 in advance and €10 on site. Why the change of heart? The answer is to be found in this long message outlining the history of the association's actions over the last 5 years or so.

In any case, we hope you'll support us in this gamble, so that the evening will be yet another success, thanks to your passion for reggae and "doing things together".

Grenoble Reggae Orchestra

is a collective of musicians dedicated to the rediscovery and sharing of reggae music through the organization of open stages.

GRO brings together over a hundred musicians who love reggae. Some are professionals, others are amateurs, but all are active in contemporary music (jazz, rock, reggae, gospel, etc.). Most of them are members of one of the countless bands from the Grenoble region, particularly known for its attachment to reggae.

Gathered under the aegis of GRO, an association under the law of 1901, these passionate musicians aim to pay tribute to this extremely popular music by exploring its repertoire (Bob Marley, Gladiators, Steel Pulse, Aswad...), performing it in XL format (over 10 musicians on stage) and opening the stage to volunteers!

Opening hours : Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 1am, and Saturday from 4pm, but also from 6pm if a concert is scheduled.

Doors open : 1 hour before the start of the concert.

Bus : Line C5 Université Biologie / Palais de Justice stop "Berriat - Le Magasin".
Train : From Grenoble train station, take tramway A towards "Fontaine La Poya", stop at "Berriat- Le Magasin".
Bicycles : 300 parking spaces available.
Car : Vallier-Catane parking lot, Square des Fusillés or near Rue Ampère.
