La Belle Électrique, in partnership with and at L'Ampérage, offers you a regular rendezvous of eclectic discoveries and favorites.
Chalk
Chalk is the project of three Irish musicians, Ross Cullen, Benedict Goddard and Luke Niblock. Heirs to the hardcore dancefloors of Belfast, their hometown, the band is a mix of IDLES and Daniel Avery, Death Grips and Bicep – industrial punk infused with techno.
Closing their trilogy of EPs with the aptly named Conditions III, released last February, Chalk builds on the visual and sonic influences of their previous releases and delivers on their promise of tension, frenzied techno and punk guitar in this vibrant, euphoric and ambitious project.
Chalk also confirms its position as a particularly remarkable live band in 2024. After a series of sold-out concerts in the UK and Ireland, more than 30 festival dates worldwide and a tour supporting IDLES and SPRINTS, the band is now announcing its biggest European headline tour to date.
