We regret to inform you that we have decided to cancel this Saturday's Global Club w/ Habibi Funk + Sharouh + Mogan at La Belle Électrique, due to internal organizational constraints. Don't worry ticket-holders, you'll be automatically reimbursed to the credit card you used to purchase your ticket, without any further action on your part.

But you don't have to go hungry! Sharouh and Mogan will be on hand on Saturday for a Dressing Club at the La Belle bar (free). We're keeping up the party energy and are already working on a new date to welcome Habibi Funk very soon.

HABIBI FUNK

Following the huge success of his Habibi Funk label, Jannis Stürtz has since become similarly lauded for his DJ sets under the same name. Spanning a plethora of genres from funk, soul and jazz to punk and hip-hop, Stürtz unearths hidden gems released in the 1960’s-80’s across the Middle East and North Africa, reissuing the records in eclectic compilations for the modern listener, as well as more recently releasing music from musicians in the current day. His reputation and demand as a DJ have been increasing in equal measure in recent years, with the Habibi Funk sound holding a unique place in the dance music world and his high energy, vinyl-only sets connecting with fans in ways that are deep, personal and long-lasting.

SHAROUH

Sharouh's motto is “to make plural identities and their paradoxes vibrate”. Female, queer, Jewish, Arab, French, Greek, passionate about traditional music and firmly rooted in contemporary creation, Sharouh distills popular Mediterranean nuggets into a danceable electro mix. A dj set where the dialogue of cultures and identities is subtly highlighted. Sharouh is deeply involved in the revitalization of the heritage and musical systems of the Maghreb and the Middle East, of music that has existed in contexts of cultural and political domination, and particularly of women artists. She founded the French branch of WE MAKE NOISE and offers a wide range of workshops and cultural activities.

MOGAN

Mogan's musical universe is characterized by a subtle marriage of gentleness and intensity. In his tracks, sensitive melodies with orchestral aspects emerge, always associated with rhythmic keys that stir the body.

A native of Grenoble, France, Mogan honed his craft with the TDN collective (The DARE Night). His acclaimed releases on labels such as Happiness Therapy and Sampling As An Art testify to the richness and depth of his work, attracting the attention of major figures on the electronic scene.

Behind the decks, he explores the different facets of house music, while integrating jazz, breakbeat, hip-hop and electro influences. His mastery of dynamic variations and percussive cadence creates a spellbinding musical experience, where melody and rhythm combine to invite uninhibited, unrestrained dancing.

Opening hours : Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 1am, and Saturday from 4pm, but also from 6pm if a concert is scheduled.

Doors open : 5 minutes before the start of the concert.
