La Belle Électrique, in partnership with and at L'Ampérage, offers you a regular rendezvous of eclectic discoveries and favorites.

FRUSTRATION

Presenting them for the umpteenth time would be disrespectful. But a reminder of why they're important can't hurt. Historically linked to the rise of Born Bad Records, whose very first release they were, the members of Frustration are the benevolent big brothers of the French indie scene. Their very background is symbolic: coming from the closed-circuit garage scene of the '90s, they abandoned tattoo/gomina rock to try something else - something at the crossroads of punk and cold wave, Metal Urbain, Killing Joke and Joy Division - when we were all rediscovering France's "synthwave" heritage through the BIPPP or Des Jeunes gens mödernes compilations. And five guys not exactly renowned for being technical gods found themselves invested with a strange grace, somewhere between the blossoming of genius and the alignment of planets: becoming avant-gardists in their early forties, they showed the way as if nothing had happened to a whole generation of bands who realized that yes, it was possible, right here, in the cursed Hexagone. Critical success, big sales, wild audiences. The rest is history.

The product of Lula's deviant imagination, Venin Carmin comes to life as a duo with Valentine on machines.
Unleashing all her live energy and never backing down from a challenge, this young two-headed creature has already toured Europe, opening for a host of prestigious acts (Frustration, Jeanne Added, She past away, rendez-vous...).
Recently spotted by the More Women On Stage festival, the band is making its way with mischief and determination.
Venin Carmin is a terribly addictive poison candy.

Opening hours : Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 1am, and Saturday from 4pm, but also from 6pm if a concert is scheduled.

Doors open : 1 hour before the start of the concert.
