Workshop

Setting up an independent music label is a complex process requiring meticulous planning and a thorough understanding of the music industry.

There are many issues and milestones to consider in order to structure your project in the best possible conditions: choosing the label's artistic line, selecting its legal structure, adopting the tax system, evaluating financing, drafting contracts, choosing a distributor, organizing a music production network, developing a promotion strategy, managing rights, surrounding yourself with effective partners, adapting your overall strategy according to the results.

Setting up and running an independent music label can be a challenge, and it's important to surround yourself with qualified professionals and understand the issues and language involved.

  • Training on Tuesday 13.02.24 from 19h00 to 22h00
  • Aimed at professional artists or those in the process of professionalizing their skills, or those setting up a music label.
  • Limited seating
  • At Labo de La Belle : 51 Boulevard Gambetta, Grenoble

Speaker

Charline Chechirlian (Blue Shine, Matcha Prod)

Artist producer, label manager, music publisher and event creator, Charline Chechirlian is a true music entrepreneur. Today, she is co-director of the Motris Records label at Le Périscope, and manager of Matcha Label (publishing, phonographic production, licensing) and Blue Shine. However, Charline has not forgotten the Grenoble network in which she has long worked, and has been sharing her knowledge for many years as a speaker and trainer on cultural and managerial issues. She is also involved in strategic planning for cultural venues and networks (Conseil National SMA - Paris).
