The aim of this training course is to look at the financing of an artistic project, from the point of view of recordings, residencies and touring. The aim is to provide participants with the keys to understanding the financing of musical projects and creative development.

Training

Prerequisites :


- Willingness to develop one's musical practice from the amateur world towards professionalization.

- Minimum knowledge of the artist's environment and intermittence

- Minimum knowledge of the administrative structure of a musical project


Program :
Introduction (15 min)
- Presentation of the speaker and the program
- Artists' tour de table (presentation of artistic project, expectations of training / questions, short-term objectives for the project)

Part 1 - Overview (30 min)
- Funding sources (non-profit organizations, CNM, FONPEPS, local authorities, tax credits)
- General operation and players (how to apply for a grant? By whom and for
by whom and for whom?)

Part 2 - Grants in detail (1h15)
- Sociétés civiles (Adami, Spedidam, SCPP, SPPF, SACEM)
- FONPEPS (APAJ and Phonographique)
- CNM
- Local authorities (City, Department, Region)
- DRAC
- Tax credits

Nicolas Faus (Le Comptoir des Arts)

Comptoir des Arts, a production office that supports some thirty artists in their development (administration, subsidies, booking, etc.).
After working in several venues in Grenoble and participating in several networks (Grand Bureau, Tempo), he is now in charge of artistic support at Comptoir des Arts, working alongside artists to devise financial structures that meet their development needs.
