During this masterclass, Altered Brother will take you into the world of sound creation through randomization and sound design techniques. You'll discover how to harness the power of the unexpected to generate new textures and ideas. He'll share his methods for streamlining your workflow and maintaining inspiration, while immersing you in the secrets of sound design with the Vital synthesizer. In addition, he'll reveal his mixing techniques specially adapted to bass music... This session will provide you with concrete tools to boost your creativity and refine your production process.

Prerequisites : Master the basics of MAO and sound synthesis.

Yoan Richard made a name for himself on the psychedelic scene his solo project Yoy Project, launched in 2018 and signed to the Hadra Altervision label in 2020. A multi-faceted composer and musician, through this project he explores a dreamlike, cinematic deep trance universe, where organic epic blends with the power of digital. Inspired by Nordic sounds, he fuses modern psychedelia with glitch touches and the grandeur of traditional vocals and instruments, all underpinned by deep, distinctive basslines. Alongside his various instrumental groups, in 2022 he launched Altered Brother, a glitch bass music and DnB project signed to ADN Music, and in 2023, Howling Nebula, a progressive ambient duo flirting with post-rock.
