They have been cultivating bad taste for over 35 years now. Their jubilant, convulsive punk energy has taken them to venues all over France and to most major festivals. Marcel is positioned exactly between Bourvil and Metallica. By playing and mixing billions of influences, the band invented Raggabilly, trash-operetta, selective country, and Blouck (Black-zouc). Willingly decadent and fond of bad taste, Marcel strive to be bad taste. They revel in our faults and rub salt in the wound. Although they seem to not give a damn about anything, Marcel don't shy away when it's time to raise their voices and speak out. If you had to label them, you could say that Marcel is a 3D band: Dance, Deceive, Denounce. They are happy to replay and rearrange their big mistakes, but writing, composing, and reacting to their enchanting daily lives has become vital to them once again. Marcel has always laughed in the face of their fears and used these little or big tricks to cope with the pitfalls of existence. The news, made ever more anxiety-inducing by partisan and toxic news channels, the manufacture of discredit, the merchants of the inevitable, the crisis of confidence, the suspicion extended to all areas, all this offered too many subjects that it would have been criminal not to tackle in a biting and mocking tone.

It's a very angry (and stupid) punk, accompanied by two volunteer “quasi-musicians” who are close to getting fired after every concert. The band has released ten albums that are more or less blue (all the punk clichés are there), a bunch of music videos that have been more or less broadcast, and to top it all off, the “band” is doing everything it can to spread the International Federation of Zero Poetry throughout the world so that there will be Zero Poetry in every city in the world and they can stop giving concerts for good.

A singer-songwriter from Lorraine, Alex Toucourt has established an authentic and distinctive musical style thanks to his strong, multifaceted, and modern identity. A self-taught guitarist since the age of 8, he gradually became a multi-instrumentalist and began writing and singing to create his first solo album, “studiOrange,” with which he gained recognition from the general public in 2010, laying the groundwork for an “acousticool” sound that blends guitar, a warm voice, and melodies that stick with you from the very first listen. Next came “Mémoire d'Éléphant Rose” in 2013, delving into a more mature style of songwriting and deeper atmospheres, followed by “Le Fruit du Bazar,” produced like its predecessor by Dominique Ledudal and released in 2021, which confirms this expanded palette: pop-folk, multi-layered arrangements, and finely crafted lyrics. An album notably marked by a highly successful duet collaboration with JP Nataf (of the band Les Innocents) on the track “À Demi-Mot.”
