"The first part of the tour is coming to an end, and it was crazy to see you all again! So crazy that I couldn't wait for next summer's festivals! So we decided to come back and see you, still with my musicians, but in a more intimate way, just between us! Starting in April 2024, we'll be criss-crossing France, stopping off at La Belle Électrique on May 25, 2024. I can't wait!"
A new beginning... The French artist Jain, known for the international success of her previous albums Zanaka & Souldier, invites us into an artistic and cosmic exploration, The Fool. For almost 10 years, her music has been a veritable global phenomenon, with the refrains of Come and Alright still ringing in our heads with insouciance, and the images of Makeba, a Grammy-nominated video, immortalizing in our minds an artist in a claudine collar with an original vivacity impossible to forget!©DR
A new project from Elliot Diener (behind the Pain Surprises label and the Petit Prince project), the name MaMaMa lies somewhere between Italian mother (Mama) and Alsatian grandmother (Mamema), and repeats its single syllable three times to convey the importance of resonances (be they familial, geographical or metaphysical) in indie pop music.
MaMaMa unveils "Le loup devient oiseau", the first single from her forthcoming album in early 2024, and explores the inner transformations linked to contextual changes and crucial life decisions.
The arrangement is rich and nuanced, combining instruments from near and far to create a complex sonic dimension. The text, meanwhile, deftly juggles deeply personal messages with universal themes.
Ariane Kiks captures MaMaMa on a phantasmagorical wander through the misty mountain landscapes of her native Vosges. Along the way, she encounters mirages, echoes and a succession of pareidolia that embody the metamorphosis of her project.
