Diversions Music

Diversions Music is the label founded in 2016 by French DJs and producers Oxia and Nicolas Masseyeff. True to the identity of its creators, the artistic direction is distinguished by a diversity of influences, ranging from house to techno, both melodic and groovy, and reflects the two artists' passion for quality productions. The label provides a platform for emerging artists and established talents alike, and focuses on sophisticated productions, while exploring sound textures that appeal to dancefloor enthusiasts and discerning music lovers alike.

Oxia

OXIA is one of France's most respected DJ/producers, with a career spanning over twenty years. The Grenoble native has played all over the planet and released a long list of tracks and remixes on labels such as: Kompakt, All Day I Dream, Knee Deep In Sound, Hot Creations, Warung, Sapiens, Bedrock... And on his own Diversions Music label.

He has signed numerous remixes, notably for Moby, Agoria, John Digweed, Joseph Capriati, Popof...
He has also collaborated with friends Miss Kittin, Agoria and Nicolas Masseyeff, with whom he launched Diversions Music in 2016.

Oxia has also released two albums: '24 heures' in 2004 on Goodlife and 'Tides Of Mind' in 2012 on Infiné. And a new one is on the way!

Her emblematic track 'Domino', released in 2017 on Agoria's label, Sapiens, accompanied by several remixes, has accumulated over 100 million listens to date.

OXIA continues to tour the world, and in 2019 his performance for CERCLE in Romania will be seen over a million times in just a few days.

2024 kicks off with a remix for the track 'Kilamba' from Dorian Craft's album on Diversions Music. OXIA continues on Diversions, with a new 'Runway EP' released in early June. And September sees the release of a remix of the track 'Continuum', taken from Teho's latest album on his Labo T label.

Nicolas Masseyeff

Nicolas Masseyeff is a DJ and producer from the south of France, renowned for his contribution to the underground electronic scene.

His passion for music has led him to become a prolific producer, with releases on influential labels such as Crosstown Rebels, DGTL Records, Sapiens, Herzblut, Systematic Recordings ... But also on Diversions Music, a label he founded in 2016 with his friend OXIA, with whom he frequently collaborates. He has also collaborated with artists such as Kittin, Stephan Bodzin, or more recently Parallelle, with whom he produced two EPs on Crosstown Rebels, released in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

Nicolas has also released two albums, “Motherland” in 2011 and “Endless” in 2022.

His musical style, somewhere between house and techno, is both melodic and percussive, characterized by deep, hypnotic bass, analog sounds and finesse in production.

An accomplished DJ, he plays regularly on the international scene, and is also one of the resident DJs at the famous Bal Des Fous in Cannes.

In October, he releases a new two-track EP on Diversions Music, entitled “Crush On You EP”.

Yannick Baudino

Grenoble-based DJ and producer Yannick Baudino is signed to Oxia and Nicolas Masseyeff's Diversions Music label. He has also produced tracks on labels such as All Day I Dream, Saved, Gruuv, Goodlife, Bigelow...

An early activist on the Grenoble scene, in 1997 he co-founded the Interface record shop, which later became a label. At the same time, he was part of the Human Body project with Stéphane Deschezeaux. He also collaborated on several productions with Oxia.

Yannick's style oscillates between deep and percussive sounds, with a marked influence from dub techno and Chicago house. His DJ sets are distinguished by a subtle, eclectic selection of hypnotic grooves and immersive melodies, creating a captivating atmosphere.

Taÿna b2b KEP

Straight from Grenoble's creative scene, KEP and Taÿna combine their talents to offer a captivating B2B to open the Diversions Music label evening.

KEP, who has been passionate about DJing since he was 16, creates a magnetic atmosphere with his eclectic sets combining house, techno and melodic techno.

DJ Taÿna, originally from Siberia, brings hypnotic melodies and minimalist rhythms to the table, while advocating love and equality.

Together, they plunge the audience into the heart of the Transpose universe, celebrating the fusion of electronic music and visual arts for a beautiful immersive experience.

Johanna Rousseau

Johanna Rousseau is a multi-faceted artist from Grenoble. Between animation, illustration, engraving, DJing and VJing, her creations give us a glimpse of a sensitive and powerful imagination, ever stranger and more fascinating. Since 2015, she has been developing VJing and Video Mapping techniques for a number of electronic music events. She enjoys triturating and altering images by playing with their rhythm and cadence, and creating narrative vignettes from film extracts and archive videos. Her scenographic work has enabled her to work alongside international artists such as Jeff Mills, Cassius, Angèle, M and Mézigue.

Opening hours : Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 1am, and Saturday from 4pm, but also from 6pm if a concert is scheduled.

Doors open : 5 minutes before the start of the concert.
