Following the success of their last two performances, “Love and Revenge” and “Galbi! Galbi!” the LOVE AND REVENGE group is back with a new creation, ‘Agmal layali’, a vibrant tribute to the great
tribute to the great Oum Kalthoum, nicknamed the Star of the Orient. True to the concept of the visual concerts for which it is renowned, Love and Revenge brings together archive images and traditional sounds from the Arab world
of the Arab world with the contemporary sounds of electronic music.
With Agmal layali (The most beautiful nights), the band fuses the Egyptian diva's bewitching “tarab” with the sounds of rhythm boxes, synthesizers and electric oud.
A musical tribute as much as a heritage revisitation, inviting different generations of the public to discover or rediscover the fascinating voice of Oum Khaltoum and the timeless magic of tarab.

MAKOTO SAN's music combines the sound of bamboo percussion and other Asian instruments with electronic music. Unusual, pure and bewitching, the timbre of bamboo instruments guides the quartet's productions. It's this grassy vibration that gives MAKOTO SAN's tracks such a singular color. Bamboo is joined by a host of Asian percussion instruments (Japanese Taikos, Balinese Anklung, Indonesian Gender), which also lend color to Makoto San's creations. A mashup between Asia (especially Japan) and the West (especially his electronic music).

Opening hours : Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 1am, and Saturday from 4pm, but also from 6pm if a concert is scheduled.
