Debout sur le Zinc
Debout sur le Zinc celebrates over thirty years of live performances, albums and collective passion. A unique trajectory, addictive music that mingles with memories as soon as you put your ear to it.
There are records that are instantly recognizable and yet still surprising. Mémoire Électrique is one of them: the band's eleventh studio album. Eleven like a mirror: an intimate rendezvous with oneself. It reflects a journey, echoes the promises of yesterday and plunges into the sounds of today.
For many, Debout is a madeleine, a milestone, a comforting certainty. A familiar echo that makes you feel less alone. A singular magic where the poetry of words and the audacity of sounds meet.
This vintage is no exception. Simon Mimoun and Romain Sassigneux's lyrics are exalted and chiselled, while the compositions by the 6 members of the group and their thirty or so instruments are audacious and of a rare variety. Skin, woodwinds, strings and vocals: these are the ingredients of this singular collective, always at odds with fashion and at the heart of the world. Without complacency or posturing.
With Mémoire Électrique, the band examines memory, time and the quest for a new lease of life in today's tumultuous times. A secular and visceral album, rooted in contemporary concerns: the search for oneself and others, transmission, hope in the face of the unknown, love. Recorded in the studio but in live conditions, it captures the intensity of the collective performance, the precision of the arrangements and the taste for the present moment. Each song is a stage, a bubble where urgency and gentleness, tension and appeasement intertwine. After L'Importance de l'hiver, which invited us to take a break, Mémoire Électrique urges us to start walking again, to get off the beaten track, to seek the light at all costs.
If the still-moving fresco of French chanson is still being written, it's time to write DEBOUT SUR LE ZINC in bold letters.

Les Croquants
It's been 25 years since 10:30 p.m. and the party's (re)started!
During hundreds of beer-fueled concerts, Danito and Kif dusted off French chanson in a festive and popular way, paying tribute to it with dozens of more or less forgotten songs.
On October 16, 1999, in a bar in Narbonne, there was one concert that stood out more than the others: the recording of their legendary debut album Ça sent la bière. A live album that hasn't aged a day, even though it was 25 years ago.
To celebrate this anniversary, Les Croquants have decided to hit the road again for just 25 concerts, first in concert halls (from October 2025) then at festivals (2026), to meet up with their fans all over France!
