Ciné-concert with Fantin-Latour

This May, a group of 3rd-graders from Collège Fantin Latour are trying their hand at music for pictures! Accompanied by their music education teacher and artist-intervenor Franck Litzler (Cie Stara Zagora), they have two weeks to create the soundtracks for two short films.

This collective creation project gives young people a chance to grasp the notions of sound effects, dialogues and soundscapes, and to try their hand at setting images on screen to music. There's no need to be an instrumentalist or a good student: the images speak to everyone, and everyone can express their own sensibility and find a way to accompany them with music: a deflating balloon can give the illusion of a rocket landing, while clashing coconuts can reproduce the sound of stones - anything goes!
