AYỌ

Singer, composer and performer, Ayo is a rare artist whose smooth, powerful voice transports you from the very first notes. Born to a Nigerian father and a German mother, she draws on her roots in soul, folk and reggae to create a unique and vibrant sound.

Revealed in 2006 with her album "Joyful" (over a million copies sold), Ayo has established herself as a key figure on the music scene. Her raw talent and sincerity touch the hearts of an ever-widening audience.

Since then, Ayo has enjoyed a string of successes, with albums such as "Gravity at Last" (2008), "Billie-Eve" (2011), "Ticket to the World" (2013) and "Royal" (2020). Each of her albums is an invitation to an intense musical journey, where emotions mingle with spellbinding melodies.

An accomplished artist and insatiable traveler, Ayo unveils her seventh album, "Mami Wata", inspired by her move to Tahiti. A powerful, introspective album, it marks a new chapter in the artist's career.

Lisa Ducasse

Alone on stage, keyboard and vinyl turntable at her fingertips, Lisa Ducasse invites us to take a journey with her lyrics and her voice. Born in Mauritius and currently based in Paris, she retains and cultivates a fierce attachment to childhood and the capacity for wonder in her adult and creative life. Inspired by real-life escapes, her songs demonstrate a willingnesś to tell of the meeting of the vulnerable and the indomitable, in notes and words that are loose, personal and current. Lisa Ducasse published her first book of poems, Midnight Sunburn, in 2017, and released her first single, Qui sont, in March 2022.

Since then, she has performed as an opening act at Parisian venues such as L'Olympia and La Maroquinerie, and more recently staged an original creation, called Palomino, mixing spoken texts and songs at Les Trois Baudets, Last year, she performed at festivals such as La Fête de l'Humanité́, Les Francofolies de La Réunion, Ici Demain and Les Bars en Trans, and this year was a regional selection at Les Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges, opening for Arthur H and Pomme. Winner of the Variations scheme in 2022, then of the Chantier des Francofolies and FAIR in 2023, she is currently working on her first album, due for release in April 2024.

Palomino is a desire to tell the story of travel, of cavalcades. The songs that make up this project, written between South America and Paris, are a taking of freedoḿ, that of taming both the fragile and the wild, of telling of encounters with the other, and of imagining lives. They are a fierce affirmation that "it's too early to give up on beauty / It's too early to give up at all."
