ARASH SARKECHIK

Iranian-born musician Arash Sarkechik delivers a repertoire of "nomadic" songs with colorful arrangements and a sense of celebration. Persian, Middle Eastern and North African sounds blend with powerful contemporary grooves to create a festive, poetic bazaar!

After scouring the stages solo for three years with his debut album "Toutirabien" released in 2018, Arash has taken his voice to the four corners of France. This time, he's surrounded by a combo of wonderful musicians, with whom the show will shine with a thousand lights. "Today I'm releasing this second opus under my own name, as an affirmation.
This new album is a joyful mess, just like me, in which I've let the Persian colors of my childhood shine through, colors I live with happily today. It is who I am, multiple, plural, nourished by my encounters, from Morocco to Cape Verde, from Lebanon to Guadeloupe, with music as the link, with, always and forever: intoxication, beauty, freedom".

His artistic journey has been marked by inspiring encounters and varied experiences.

His passion for the guitar and his desire to share his creativity led him to create the group DesertStreet.
Accompanied by various musicians from the Grenoble, Moroccan and Algerian scenes.

In the heart of the Alps, he fuses genres and traditions to create a cocktail of original, captivating melodies.
A unique blend of music, carrying the essence of Moroccan and Saharan traditions, as well as the influence of Gnawa, Rock, Blues, Funk and Flamenco.
