Le Labo de La Belle
Free - On reservation
This season, La Belle Électrique is offering a new series of events in the form of meetings with artists and personalities from the music industry. To help us better understand the possible paths and keys to developing a music project, they will share their experiences and professiopeux faire nal insights with us.
This new professional gathering is dedicated to jazz with our guests, Florent Briqué from the Grenoble-based band Marthe, and multi-instrumentalist Stracho Temelkovski.
Florent Briqué
Trumpeter and composer from Grenoble specializing in jazz and world music, Florent Briqué has collaborated with leading figures in American and European jazz, including Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, and the World Saxophone Quartet. He has also conducted the African Salsa Orchestra and co-directed Le bal de l'Afrique enchantée. As a sideman, Florent Briqué has played at festivals and jazz venues in France, Europe, and around the world. He spent a year in residence in Shanghai exploring Chinese music and conducted the Orchestre Régional de Jazz en Lorraine from 2003 to 2005.
In 2011, Florent Briqué launched the artist collective “L'oreille en Friche” (The Ear in the Field), taking on the role of artistic director, before launching the Marthe project in 2017 with Alexis Moutzouris, a brilliant multi-instrumentalist of Greek origin. Joined by Lucas Territo (guitar & bass) and Damien Bernard (drums), the group quickly made a name for itself and performed on prestigious stages in France and around the world (Russia, Thailand, China, etc.), collaborating with artists such as illustrator Thomas Brosset and Russian trio Verbnoe Voskresenie.

Stracho Temelkovski
Stracho Temelkovski is a self-taught musician with many talents. An improviser, composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist, he draws his creativity from his Macedonian roots, jazz, and his journey through acoustic and electric music. Stracho's adventure began very early on with the fusion group Kassinga, which he founded with Philippe and Pierre Bonnet. This remarkable first experience led to collaborations with the music groups Gnawa Diffusion and Mig. In 2003, he stepped in at the last minute to replace American jazz bassist Steve Swallow on a project with musician and poet Antonio Placer. While Swallow passed on his knowledge of the bass and its melodic role in jazz, it was with Antonio Placer that he developed the instrumental versatility that would become his trademark. From then on, Stracho Temelkovski made a name for himself in the jazz world. He gained a wealth of artistic experience and collaborations that led him to perform throughout France and internationally, notably as an associate artist of the Jazz à Vienne festival.
