Andréas et Manuel | MPL

It all began in Meylan in 2012 for Cédric, Manuel, Arthur, Julien, and Andreas, who formed the band Ma Pauvre Lucette in tribute to a friend who had passed away. After a few years of performing in the region, the band was spotted by the Grenoble music scene in 2017 and took part in the regional auditions for the Printemps de Bourges festival. Shortly afterwards, the band signed with Melchior de Carvalho as their manager and Lyon-based show producer BAAM Productions for touring, and changed their name to MPL.
The five members of the band created their own label, L'Amirale, in 2018. In 2020, their second album, L'Étoile, brought them out of the obscurity in which they had been operating until then.
The success was meteoric. More than 200 concert dates and one album later, MPL has established itself in the French music scene, attracting an ever-growing audience. The next tour is already shaping up to be a success, with the Olympia already sold out and a show at the Zenith in Paris scheduled for late 2026. Two concerts will also take place at La Belle Électrique in March 2026.
