Cédric, Manu, Arthur, Julien and Andreas are MPL. In 2020, their sophomore album L’Étoile put them in the spotlight. With more than 200 concerts to their name, they’re gathering a growing audience and are treating each show like a special space of artistic expression. MPL fabricates the music of their time with the help of a whirlwind of guitars, a bass and electronic drums.
MPL is a parchment that unfolds like a tale. They’re 5 endearing guys facing storms and screaming their feelings at them. They have catchy melodies, poetic lyrics full of images and landscapes and they have the will to go against what society is imposing. They’re men of their time who make interrogations flourish and who dare to be something the old world isn’t expecting. Their new album Bonhommes comes from that perspective of endless questioning of their masculinity and affirmation of their sensitivity.

Born in Luxembourg in 1997 to a Franco-Moroccan mother and an Italian father, Nyv grew up in Domodossola, Italy, where her only means of travel and escape from the valley were the piano keys in the village Sunday school. Self-taught, a singer and multi-instrumentalist, Nyv became a well-known and recognized artist with her album written in Italian and composed by herself, “Low Profile”, released in 2020.
In 2021, French DJ Bob Sinclar fell in love with the artist and one of her compositions. He produced and arranged the song, which became their new single “Bordeline” featuring Nyv in 2022.
Buoyed by the success of this collaboration and very impressed by the artist's artistic abilities, Bob Sinclar proposed that Nyv produce her next solo album. Nyv, who had always dreamed of creating an album in French, in her own image, free and sincere, jumped at the chance to settle in Paris and record her new album accompanied by a duo of arrangers nicknamed “Alb”.
This album, which promises to be organic, colorful but also tinged with melancholy, will shed light on the artist's life, her journey and her mixed heritage. A sensitive woman who rejects lines and categories, she is convinced that expressing herself in music brings her closer to others and encourages them to understand each other.
