Camille
Nine years after Ouï, Camille releases The Sound of Milk (2026), a triptych album comprising Naissance (2015), Enfance (2020) and Adolescence (2025). Conceived over a period of more than fifteen years, this project consists of an audio diary, a pocket musical and a pop album.
Through these three parts, Camille chooses to speak of joy—both powerful and vulnerable—of the feminine, of motherhood, of childhood and family in the broadest sense, and of the passing on of music and enduring values. She asks herself: how can we live our daily lives in the face of today’s challenges? How can we care for children and the child within each of us, for the living and for Life itself? What can we pass on to them to re-enchant the world?
Tender, lucid and committed, this album confronts us with the issues and challenges facing humanity. It also lulls us to awaken us to love, and rekindles the stars where they have gone out.
“Only joy consoles me, and it is my role as a human being, a woman and a mother to nurture it, to dream it, and to mend the world through song by making it vibrate once more!”
