The Hacker

Michel Amato’s contribution to electronic music cannot be overstated. Under the name The Hacker and various other pseudonyms, he has inspired generations of dance music fans and artists. Since his debut album was released in 1996, Amato has gone through a techno phase, dabbled in EBM, sci-fi-tinged electro, and new wave, but he is perhaps best known as the founding father of electroclash.

He found a kindred spirit in Miss Kittin, and together they became one of the most iconic duos in electronic music, with hits such as “Champagne” (1998) and “Frank Sinatra” (2000) selling hundreds of thousands of copies. In 2004, Amato released his most acclaimed album to date, “Rêves Mécaniques,” and the following years saw Amato produce a wide range of club tracks on numerous leading labels, including a double LP for his own label, Zone. Today, he is in greater demand than ever, with a highly acclaimed album, “Le Théâtre Des Opérations,” released on Dark Entries in 2017, and contributions to labels run by trendsetters such as Helena Hauff, Erol Alkan, and Veronica Vasicka since then.

On stage and as a DJ, Amato is just as revered as he is on record, performing at prestigious events such as Dekmantel, Berghain, Nuits Sonores, and Off Sonar.

Phase Fatale

Known as Phase Fatale, Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label owner Hayden Payne is reinventing the language of techno through a blend of powerful basslines, sensual narratives, and mind-control mechanisms. Expressing his vision through an authentic and meticulously crafted approach to techno, the artist’s rhythmic explorations draw inspiration from his roots in underground scenes around the world. As evidenced by residencies at prestigious venues such as Berghain and KHIDI, Payne demonstrates an unfailing understanding of how to harness the synergy of the club environment through his productions and DJ sets.

Hailing from the post-punk scene, Payne draws on his deep musical knowledge and diverse influences. His fusion of nuanced references and conceptual narratives remains, above all, dancefloor-oriented; the subtleties of his varied sonic palette form the foundation of his multi-layered wall of sound.

Payne’s signature sound pushes the boundaries of techno sensibility and reflects the spirit of the times while remaining true to his own vision.

Bruno Bazzetti

Born in Lima, Peru, Bruno Bazzetti has been active as a DJ and producer since 2007.

In 2022, he released a track in collaboration with Noelia Cabrera titled “Anything is a mistake,” blending synth-pop and new wave.

He moved to Grenoble the following year, where he continues to share his music and is actively involved in the local scene. He is also the founder and curator of the Cinétique project and organizes traveling parties at various venues throughout the city, actively contributing to the development of the city’s electronic music culture.
