They burst onto the scene in 2019 with L’Adresse, an unexpected album from these three young artists who were discovered on the internet with their series of cover songs, “On vient gâcher tes classiques” (We’re here to ruin your classics). With a platinum record, “Côte Ouest” on everyone's lips, and sold-out concerts, 47Ter (a name that refers to the address of their neighborhood's community hall, remember) knew from the start how to impose their original style, neither quite rap nor completely chanson, a unique mix of words and melodies with an irresistible pop flavor.
Pierre Paul, Blaise, and Lopes, Bailly's three accomplices (Yvelines, 78), are back after three years of uncertainty since their last album, torn between nostalgia for adolescence and disillusionment with the adult world. This new project takes stock of the past quarter-century: how can we move forward in this world without losing ourselves? How can we convince ourselves that we can enjoy it?©DR
