Unveiling of the Tactile Model

To mark Accessibility Month, La Belle Électrique is unveiling its new tactile model, designed to allow everyone to explore and better understand the venue.

Created by AVIPAR in collaboration with the Valentin Haüy Association to make it accessible to people with visual impairments, this model invites visitors to discover La Belle Électrique in a new way: with their fingertips! Visitors can explore the venue’s dimensions, spaces, and architecture through touch, helping them better orient themselves and feel at home there.

Starting at 4 p.m., AVIPAR members will be on hand to discuss the project’s origins, explain the various stages of the model’s design and construction, and engage with the public.

Three guided tours are offered at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. (free, by reservation).
At 6 p.m., join us for the official opening ceremony, featuring a speech.

At the same time, discover cultural programming through sound with podcasts available for free listening in a relaxation area.

AVIPAR is a recreational workshop that creates scale models of regional architectural heritage with adults with disabilities and able-bodied volunteers, in a fully inclusive setting. From documentary research to site surveys, including the selection of materials, design, and construction, everyone participates in the various stages of the creative process.

With this tactile model, La Belle Électrique aims to continue its commitment to a culture accessible to all and to make accessibility a central focus of its cultural initiatives.

Bar : Wednesday to Friday, from 3pm to 1am.
