Discovered in 2019 with Béni, she has gone on to enjoy success with her EP Ozoror (2023) and her first album Caviar I (2024). Nominated for Victoires de la Musique (Female Revelation, Stage Revelation) and Les Flammes (Stage Revelation, Female Artist of the Year) in 2024, she has established herself as one of the most striking voices of her generation. In 2025, Meryl continued her momentum with hit singles, including Shatta Confessions (feat. N'Ken) and Champagne ké fraises, and a new album, La Dame. Lawskie
Originally from Martinique and raised between the Caribbean and Paris, Lawskie has developed a sound where trap meets Caribbean rhythms, driven by a modern energy and a strong identity. Drawing on both French and international influences, he creates music that is at once sincere, powerful, and deeply rooted in his origins. Following "32%", Lawskie solidified his artistic evolution with "DOH!", released on May 22, 2026, and highlighted by the track "MAKA SHIT". The song marked a turning point in his career and allowed him to reach a wider audience, with several million streams and views just a few months after its release. His career is also marked by collaborations with major artists from the Caribbean scene, notably Meryl, with whom he appears on "Chaos", a track from her album "La Dame", released in late 2025.
Through his identity, his influences, and a distinct artistic vision, Lawskie has established himself as an artist at the crossroads of French rap and Caribbean cultures.
