For Children Born Too Soon

Since April, La Belle Électrique has been supporting an artistic project carried out with artists from the Fusées collective within the neonatal unit at the Grenoble Alpes University Hospital.

Parents have put their experiences of their children’s births into words. These words capture what they go through during these unique moments: the complexity, the tenderness, the trust, and their fears… .

With the guidance of Marielle Imbert and Florent Diarra from the Fusées collective, the parents transformed their words into songs. These lyrics were then set to music and recorded in the parents’ lounge of the neonatal unit.

We invite you to discover the result of this work at a concert and presentation at the Bar de La Belle on November 21 at 4 p.m.

It will be a chance to listen to these songs, hear these stories, and share in a creative work born from intimate words, told from the perspective of those who lived through these experiences.

The concert will also feature an exhibition of photographs taken as part of the project.
